3. Appointments and Bookings

3.1 Scheduling

Appointments must be scheduled in advance by phone, email, or through our website. We will confirm all appointments prior to your scheduled time.

3.2 Cancellations

We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.

3.3 Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in shortened service time or rescheduling, depending on availability.

4. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your dog's health, temperament, and any special needs
• Inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or behavioral issues
• Ensure your dog is up-to-date on vaccinations (proof may be required)
• Notify us of any flea or tick infestations before arrival
• Disclose any previous grooming experiences or incidents

5. Health and Safety

5.1 Dog Health Requirements

We reserve the right to refuse service to any dog showing signs of illness, aggression, or infestation. Dogs must be in good general health to receive grooming services.

5.2 Pre-existing Conditions

While we take every precaution, grooming may reveal or aggravate pre-existing health conditions. We are not responsible for conditions that were not disclosed prior to service or that become apparent during grooming.

5.3 Emergency Care

In the event of a medical emergency, we will attempt to contact you immediately and may seek veterinary care at your expense. By using our services, you authorize us to obtain emergency veterinary treatment if necessary.

6. Pricing and Payment

6.1 Service Fees

Prices are subject to change and may vary based on dog size, coat condition, and specific service requirements. We will provide pricing estimates before beginning service.

6.2 Additional Charges

Additional fees may apply for severely matted coats, difficult temperaments, or services requiring extended time. You will be notified of any additional charges before they are incurred.

6.3 Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services. We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. Returned checks will incur a processing fee.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we exercise utmost care, grooming involves inherent risks. We are not liable for:

• Pre-existing conditions revealed during grooming
• Skin irritations in dogs with sensitive skin
• Minor nicks or cuts that may occur during grooming, despite our care
• Changes in coat texture or appearance due to necessary matting removal
• Stress-related reactions in anxious dogs

8. Matted Coats

Severely matted coats may require shaving. Matting can cause skin problems and discomfort. Removing matted coats may reveal existing skin conditions. We will discuss options with you, but the final decision rests with our professional judgment regarding your dog's welfare.

9. Aggressive Behavior

We reserve the right to refuse service or stop grooming if a dog displays aggressive behavior that poses a safety risk to our staff or the animal. No refunds will be issued for services partially completed due to aggressive behavior.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Valmontara and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

11. Photography and Media

We may photograph dogs before and after grooming for our records and marketing purposes. By using our services, you consent to the use of your dog's images on our website and social media. If you prefer not to have your dog photographed, please inform us in writing.

12. Privacy

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
